Hello, I’m Ranjit Dhaliwal, a London-based ceramic artist.
My practice is influenced by the forms of modern European studio pottery, married with a bright colour palette that is inspired by my Indian heritage.

My next London show will be at Future Icons Selects from 15-18 May 2025. I will be presenting a new series of sculptural ceramic vessels, Motion.

I am drawn to the humble nature of a craft that is based on making things from earth, dug from the ground, and the magical transformation that comes from subjecting it to intense heat. I feel a strong connection to our pottery tradition that goes back many millennia but still remains vital to the way we live now.

Here’s one of the larger new pieces that I made to showcase at @futureiconsselects this weekend. It’s on from 15-18th May and entry is free. There are loads of really cool makers there working across a broad spectrum of arts and crafts
